From 6/16/2025 press screening:
It's a movie made for car racing fans. Lap by lap, extreme speed mixed with fiery crashes and daredevil danger. I feel it's light on the story or character development. Directed by Joseph Kosinski ("Top Gun: Maverick"), it's certainly a visceral experience, especially with the cool shots behind the wheel riding the curvy turns and with fist-pumping music. The score throughout is elegantly outstanding! 
There's one scene in particular where everything is quiet and you'll be flying along in the zone.
"Rush" remains the good standard though. And for inspiration, "Gran Turismo."
