The days of having a new tentpole film opening every other week will soon give way to a wide variety of original ideas and potential awards contenders. Still, while we can expect heavy drama and thriller; action, western and sci-fi will also make their way into the theaters in the next several months.
Among a dozen notable films are, "Sully," "Snowden," The Magnificient Seven," "The Girl on the Train," "The Accountant," "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back," "Inferno," "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Allied," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Passengers." And Marvel has magic up its superhero sleeves with "Doctor Strange."
