I know "Pan" has been panned (pardon the pun) for its mess of a story by critics, but I enjoyed it. It's a reimagining (who knew Peter Pan and Captain Hook are friends?), amped-up tale of children's imagination, about an orphan boy who learns about his past, conquers his fear, believes in himself and fulfills his destiny. Highly energetic swashbuckling and flying adventures in fantasy lands. Enjoy the lush visuals awash in colors and fairies.
