The holiday movie season generally is a strange one. We get a bunch of big-budget crowd-pleasing blockbusters sharing the megaplex with serious, high-brow, award-friendly films. Last year we were stunned by "Black Swan" or left speechless by "The King's Speech." This year sparkling vampires, tattooed Swedes, muppets, spies, mission impossible, Steven Spielberg all look poised to make a big splash.
