Comic-Con 2014: Preview Night

[For stories and pictures from years past, check out: http://sdmoviemaven.blogspot.com/p/comiccon-wondercon.html]

Summer is well underway and the best night was finally here! After a marvelous movies month of May, June and July have turned out to be mostly lackluster. Comic-Con was just what I needed. Just a quick note to post preview night pics.

Unlike the last several years, this year's pilot TV night was on the skimpy side. One year we had five pilots jammed into one night. Other years there were at least two shows that looked intriguing. This year we had three, one was horror and the other animation. The only one interesting was "The Flash," a superhero spin-off of the popular "Arrow." Happy to say "The Flash" was fantastic!

Another positive side of cutting out of the pilot preview room early, I had ample time to visit the exhibit halls, which is always a-must.

I've got family visiting from overseas and will be out and about most times for the next week, but I'll be sure to post highlights sometime. There's also the virtual impossibility to get into Hall H these days, but I'm planning to attend a press conference and other panels as well.

Stay tuned!
